We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to understand how the product is used so we can improve it, and to measure how well our advertising works. We don’t use them to sell your data or build an advertising profile of you.
The advertising cookies load only if you accept them on the cookie banner — decline, and the product works exactly the same. Your choice is saved in your browser; clear your browser data to be asked again. We also remember which link or campaign brought you to the site so we can tell which of our efforts are working.
We don’t sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary with trusted service providers that help us run AuctionMate — including for sign-in, analytics, advertising measurement, email, and hosting. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
If you join the report waitlist or opt into product news, we store your email so we can contact you about it. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any email, or by emailing us below.
Account → Security → Delete account. Clicking schedules deletion and locks sign-in immediately. After a 14-day grace window, your watchlists, notes, settings, unlocked reports, and remaining report balance are permanently removed. Inside the window you can restore everything by signing back in with the same Google account.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, it’s removed after the 14-day grace window above. Anonymized aggregate signals (auction outcomes with no identifier tying them to you) may be kept to keep improving the math. Analytics providers retain usage data per their own retention settings.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), access is restricted, and we use reputable cloud providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security — but we work to protect your data and will notify you if a breach affects you, as required by law.
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can do most of this yourself (delete your account, decline the cookie banner, unsubscribe from email) or email us below and we’ll help. We don’t sell your personal data.
AuctionMate isn’t directed to anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we’ll delete it.
We operate from the United States and our service providers may process data there and elsewhere. By using AuctionMate you understand your data may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws than your own.
