Effective date: 2026-06-18.
These Terms govern your use of AuctionMate — the website, the Chrome extension, the mobile app, and the API (together, the “Service”), operated by AuctionMate (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You’re responsible for following the terms of any auction platform you use AuctionMate alongside (including Copart and IAAI) — AuctionMate is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Copart, IAAI, or any auction house, data provider, or government agency.
AuctionMate is an auction-research tool for informational purposes only. We are notan official NMVTIS provider, a vehicle-inspection service, a dealer, a broker, or a guaranteed valuation service. The verdict, max-bid, and profit math are the model’s opinion based on inputs you can change — they are estimates, not financial, investment, or purchasing advice, and not a guarantee of resale value, condition, or outcome. You are solely responsible for your own bids, purchases, and decisions. Always verify title status, condition, and history independently (e.g., with your state DMV and an in-person inspection) before you buy.
AuctionMate is free to use today. The verdict, profit math, market range, recall feed, watchlists, and the extension are free. Reports are not currently available. If we introduce paid features, pricing and terms will be shown before you buy, and nothing transitions to paid silently — a charge always requires your explicit action.
AuctionMate aggregates data from third parties — auction listings, market-value providers, NHTSA recall data, and vehicle-history sources. We don’t control that data and can’t guarantee it’s complete, accurate, or current. It is provided “as is”and is not a substitute for an independent inspection, a title check with your DMV, or professional advice. Vehicle-history data, where offered, is governed by its providers’ terms and any applicable legal restrictions on use.
The Service — including its software, design, the verdict/scoring logic, and its outputs — is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own vehicle-buying research. You get no other rights, and you may not copy, sell, or build a competing product from it.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,”without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate, verdict, or data point is correct. You use it at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuctionMate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost vehicles, overpayment, or lost data, arising from your use of the Service — including any reliance on a verdict, estimate, or data point. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold AuctionMate harmless from claims and costs arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
You can stop using the Service anytime and delete your account from Account → Security → Delete account (a 14-day grace window applies before permanent deletion; see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We’ll post the new effective date here and email account holders before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AuctionMate is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any formal claim, contact us at the email below so we can try to resolve it informally. The specific governing jurisdiction and dispute-resolution process are being finalized and will be stated here.
